September 2013 – New Perimeter Fence
The Chapel has been surrounded by a wall since the church was built back in the 1950’s. Unfortunately time had taken its toll on the structure and it was decided to replace it.
After careful consideration it was decided to replace the wall with a modern style fencing which gives the Chapel a totally new look and makes the grounds a safer place for the youth activities which take place on it.
The work was completed during September, and gives the grounds a much needed visual uplift. New entrance gates and parking access for any disabled church members and friends have been included to bring the facilities up to date.
July 2009, New Facilities at the Chapel completed!
During 2009 the Chapel completed the ‘Infill project’ giving a new small hall and disabled toilet facility.
Those of you who know the Chapel will be aware that we had an area in the centre of the Church which was just used for storage. This has now become a new hall area and has a roof spanning the old small hall as well. This gives more space for the various Youth activities and other meetings at the Chapel, and a place for folks to meet, chat and have refreshments at the end of a meeting.
In addition to this, a new disabled toilet has been installed near the entrance in giving our disabled members & visitors better facilities. This work was completed during the summer, and a dedication service was held during September thanking God for his many blessings.
