The mid-week prayer time is described by some as the ‘powerhouse’ of the church. Without prayer, we cannot expect to see God’s blessing on the church and its work. Nor will we stay on the right track personally unless we are bringing the things that bother us to God. Prayer is sorely needed for the world we live in, and for our friends and family members too. Although Christians can tend only to turn to God in times of trouble, He would have us pray to Him at all times, both in praise and petition.

Studying the Bible is also a necessary part of Christian life. Understanding what God is saying to us in His Word helps us to trust Him more. His Word is to be a “Lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119v105).

The whole meeting lasts around an hour and we encourage all that are prayer-minded and keen to grow in Christ to come along.
